EIE to Host:
Teaching with Games Workshop

Monrovia, CA -- "Teaching with Games" workshop to be held at Excellence in Education (EIE) - Saturday, November 19, 2005, from 9 a.m. till about 1 p.m. The cost is $25.

Carolyn Forte, presents "Teaching with Games", she is the mother of two previously homeschooled, now married daughters, and co-owner of Excellence in Education (EIE) along with her husband, Martin Forte. Mrs. Forte is a popular speaker at homeschool conferences throughout California. Her games workshops are always well attended and received.

Remember that little children learn best through play. The workshop is geared toward families with children ages 12 and under, but Carolyn said she will also address games for high school subjects as well.

Payment can be made at the door, but please RSVP so that everyone can be accommodated.

You can expect to take a short break after about two hours and then go for two more hours. That way, we can wrap things up around 1 p.m. and go home.

Bring snacks and beverages if you wish -- but please don't spill on the books or games, and do contact me with any questions you may have.

EIE has a fabulous bookstore for homeschoolers on the premises. You will be able to jumpstart on your Christmas shopping too, as there will be many games available for purchase. I have it on good authority that EIE will be offering a 20% discount on any games purchased that day.
