A New School for a Different Generation
Our facility offers a place for home school students and their family to build a strong support system and community. We offer the following programs and activities for Home School Students in 6th - 12th grade:
Teen Talk - An opportunity to discuss in a group setting about topics that are important to Teens.
Debate Club - It gives students of all abilities a fun way of developing their speaking skills, critical thinking and leadership skills.
Playstation Battle - An opportunity for socialization while displaying their video game talent
Field Trips - Twice a month to different locations
Art Programs and More -- All of the above programs are free of charge with the exception of Field Trips which may include a cost of the location being visited and some art programs that require supplies.

Homeschool plans, trips, fun. We are looking to meeting other Middle Schoolers 6th grade & up to High School 12th grade. Parents meet monthly to help each other, figure things out, talk of issues and give each other a pat on the back. Schoolers meet monthly for fun trips, activities. Wholeheart is designed to provide support to the homeschooling mother or father. While the parent gets two hours to discuss televant topics to them their children birth to 18 are in classes taught by local professions also covering topics like music, physical theater, communication, sewing, drawing and puppetry.

Telfair County Homeschooling Group

We are a new group formed to support families in Telfair and surrounding counties who are interested in homeschooling. The Telfair County/McRae-Helena and surrounding areas doesn't have a huge support for this approach to schooling. We are attempting to change that.
Meeting: Our play-dates are currently on hold. Once we get more families involved they will resume. We hope to also increase the frequency of our meetings and include more educational/field trip type events.
