We welcome all homeschooling philosophies and offer support to parents in the form of monthly meetings, field trips, and socialization opportunities. We encourage diversity and we encourage anyone comfortable to host a meeting, plan an event, and contribute their time or knowledge to the group. We are not affiliated with any particular religion and welcome members from all faiths to our group. Whether your family is new to homeschooling, cyber schooling, or you're a veteran we welcome you to attend an event.

Yolo County Homeschoolers

All are welcome to join!

Yolo Homeschoolers is the oldest continuing support group in the county, over 20 years old! A loosely affiliated group of homeschooling families YoHo, as it is commonly known, includes families of all religions, philosophies, and homeschooling methods. YoHo sponsors an annual Homeschool Information Night every August, and maintains a listserv in which members may announce group classes and activities.

Meeting: First Thursday of every month at Rainbow City Community Park located in Davis.

Serving: YWest Sacramento, Davis, Woodland, Dixon, Winters and surrounding areas.

A busy ministry!

YHSA is a volunteer run ministry. YHSA provides encouragement and resources for families, assist new home schoolers, and provides academic and social interaction with other parents and children with similar concerns and educational goals. YHSA has a monthly Mom's support meeting, field trips, annual picnic, and a New Member Tea. Families can participate in academic projects such as International Fair, Safety Day, and Project Fair.

Meeting: Monthly activities for fun and service, weekly club meetings, as scheduled.

Serving: Beavertown, Blooming Grove, Chestnut Hill, Dover, Faiview Park, Oklahoma, Franklintown, Green Acres, Jefferson, Loganville, Rosegarden, Porters Sideling, West Bangor, Yorkshire, Martinsville, North York, Spring Plains, Stonybrook, and surrounding areas.

Young Macon County Home Educators
(YMCHE)

Support, Encourage, and Strengthen Each Other!

YMCHE is a non-denominational Christian home school support organization. Our group is open to all families home schooling children who are 12 years old and younger in and around Macon County, NC. In order to be a member of YMCHE members must be willing to comply with North Carolina state law and uphold the ideals of YMCHE.

Meeting: Group meets the third Monday of the month, from 7:30 - 9:30 at Franklin Covenant Church.

Serving: Franklin, Highlands, Addington Mill, Lickskillet, Burnett Fields, Scaly Mountain and surrounding areas.
