WCHE began as an outreach to the families of Willow Creek Presbyterian Church in Winter Springs, FL, and has now grown to include families from all over the Central Florida area. Some of our members are new to homeschooling, while others are veterans with children spanning in age from infancy to high school. We offer many activities planned throughout the year, including field trips, special events and clubs for all ages, as well as co-op class sessions for elementary, middle, and high school students. (fall and spring).

Meeting: 2nd Monday of the month 7:00 p.m., Willow Creek Presbyterian Church, Winter Springs, FL

Make New Friends!

Wimberley Homegrown Homeschoolers is a small active homeschool support group geared toward families with elementary aged children or younger. We are an inclusive, open, social group to homeschoolers and families of all kinds and believe you will find we have more in common than not. Our goal is to help provide an opportunity for families with younger homeschooling children to connect and meet and hopefully make long lasting friendships. Younger siblings are welcome. We support one another, share tips, discuss problems, pool ideas, arrange group field trips and form lasting friendships.

Meeting: Scheduled events are held at various locations around Wimberley.

Serving: Wimberley, Woodcreek, Buda, Driftwood, Pleasant Valley Crossing, Fischer, San Marcos, Redwood, Kyle, Royal Forest, Hunter, Bear Creek, Dripping Springs, Mt. Gainor and surrounding areas.

WAHA provides support and information to first-year homeschoolers, cooperative learning activities, socialization opportunities, field trips and group activities that provide both education and fun. We also make sure our members are aware of educational and legislative information relative to homeschooling.
