We love making new friends!
We are a relaxed, inclusive homeschooling group that meets in the Hemet/San Jacinto area. Most of our members tend to be unschoolers, but not all. Each family is unique and has an individual approach to homeschooling which we welcome.

We have been in existence since May of 1987.
VHS exists to encourage and support homeschooling in the Spokane area and to provide, when possible, resources to meet various homeschooling needs. We are a Christian homeschool support group that promotes Christian family values. Valley Home Scholars, as a family-oriented organization, will endorse and promote events that we believe are pro-life, pro-family, and pro-homeschooling.

VHSA seeks to support the efforts of Christian home educators by providing opportunities for fellowship, encouragement, education and the exchange of ideas and information from a Biblical perspective. VHS members homeschooling parents can get together to exchange ideas and inputs for fields trips, social activities, classes and more.

Support for Lehigh Homeschoolers!
Our group is all inclusive, with some members using traditional methods, and others cyber schooling. We're not affiliated with any religion, however, most are Christian. We are different in that we have a great deal of teens, and provide activities geared for them. For example, we had our first prom in June, 2008, planning is now in the works for our June, 2009 prom. We have homeschool bowling, matinees, ice cream socials, etc. We're solely a support group; we don't have co-ops.
Meeting: We usually meet on Mondays.

VHE is a cooperative group with no religious bias. We offer activities for all ages and have an active teen group. We meet Fridays during the academic year for park days, clubs and classes, field trips and other group activities. No membership fee.

It is our desire to support Vandenberg AFB families in their homeschooling journey. We are a Christian group, with our leadership professing Jesus as their Savior. We welcome all people, including those with different religious beliefs, families considering home schooling, new home schoolers, and home school veterans as well. You must have base access to participate in this group.
Meeting: Held at the VAFB library, the first Monday of the month from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

We are a diverse group of homeschooling families located on/near Vandenberg AFB. This support group was founded by a group of friends looking for a positive and friendly unique group of individuals whose main focus is on the education of their children as well as enjoying the journey along the way.
Some of our activities are: camping, hiking, field trips, parent book club,
mom's fitness, science days, game days and more.
Meeting: Group meets first Friday of the month from 5:00 p.m until 6:00 p.m. -- on base.

Supporting the homeschooling family!
VHEN is focused on building a strong Homeschool community throughout West Lane County by welcoming all homeschooling families regardless of race, religion or homeschooling style. This group is community-based. If you want to see something happen -- make it happen. Members agree to host just 2 activities a year. This can be as simple as a play date at your home to a more elaborate field trip. A newsletter listing activities open to all homeschoolers as well as other information is available at the Fern Ridge Library.
