We strive to provide support and encouragement wherever each family is in their unschooling journey.

UNOUA seeks to welcome and support the lives, liberties, and lifestyles of all unschoolers, promoting natural, fun, free, respectful, and person centered living and learning, while placing more focused attention on the unschooling families of the urban New Orleans area. UNOUA meetings, groups, and field trips are held in the urban New Orleans area, all members are encouraged to be active contributors to the life and vitality of the group.

Meeting: We hold two weekly support groups and play times in various urban parks as well as monthly field trips in central New Orleans.

We are a support group for unschooling and relaxed homeschooling families in the seacoast area of southern Maine and New Hampshire. We are inspired by the works of John Holt, and the idea that curiosity is innate and that learning is a natural, seamless part of life. We welcome those who are new to homeschooling or have young children and are exploring their options. SUN is a non-directed support group, which means that all activities are organized by individual families, who then invite others to join them.

This group is for unschoolers and anyone else interested in the very simple, but very radical idea that life is learning and learning is life! SoCalUnschoolers is a place for sharing ideas and planning get togethers with other like-minded families.
