We are a low-key homeschool co-op that meets once a month (sometimes twice) for social activities such as picnics, play dates, and visits to places like the zoo. We are opening a school in Carmel in August that will meet two days a week from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The parents will homeschool the other three days using lessons sent home by the teacher.

Helping Other Parents Educate
(HOPE)
Support for parents and students
HOPE provides support for homeschooling families in and around Pine County. Our hope is to help parents fulfill their God-given right and responsibility to educate their children. As homeschooling parents, we desire to come together with other believers to support each other in homeschooling. With that in mind, anyone is welcome, regardless of religious practice or belief. HOPE offers monthly field trips and activities suitable for the entire family. Parents are also invited to enjoy an evening of adult fellowship each month.

We are a group of home educators in the North Forsyth and Dawsonville area dedicated to educating our children at home. The primary goal of DAFHE is to act as a central umbrella structure that (1) helps share ideas, resources & knowledge about homeschooling; (2) facilitate the creation and scheduling of activities, events & field trips; and (3) provide a support network for its members. This is an inclusive group. All are welcome. However, as many in the group believe in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, emphasis is often placed on a biblical world-view.
