BAFB Homeschoolers are here to serve, support, and encourage homeschooling military families stationed at Barksdale AFB. We offer a monthly Mom's Meeting to encourage homeschool moms as they venture on their journey to educate their children at home. We have monthly activities that include field trips as well as group and family outings. We also have an active teen group that meet together monthly for various activities. You are welcome to join our group at anytime during the year.
Meeting: Second Tuesday of each month in the Chapel 2 Annex at 6:30 p.m.

Building Community in Homeschooling Throughout Lane County
Barnraisers was created as a way for Lane County Homeschoolers to stay connected. Membership is simple - all members host 2 activities a year, which can be as simple as hosting a play date at your house or planning a more elaborate field trip - it's up to you!
This group is community-based, which means that it is community run. There is no single person or group of persons "in charge".

Bringing awareness to homeschooling families!
We seek to encourage you in your homeschooling endeavors by offering once a month meetings at which we plan activities for the upcoming month, disseminate information about opportunities in the community, and meet with other parents for encouragement and exchange of ideas and techniques. Activities offered by our group include field trips, holiday parties, President's challenge, and end of the year achievement testing.
Meeting: Meet the 1st Tuesday from August to May at 6:30 p.m. at Faith Baptist Church, 3755 N. Germantown Road in Bartlett.
