The Home Education Alliance (HEA) is an inclusive support group of home educating families dedicated to providing opportunities for positive socialization and scholastic achievement. We are based in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Whether you are just getting interested in homeschooling or are currently homeschooling and having a difficult time, we are here to support. Members include homeschooling families with diverse educational backgrounds, professionals and homemakers. If you are interested in more information, feel free to contact us.

Meeting: First Tuesday of the month from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. Meetings are held in various local locations. Call for details.

Leading children to walk in truth!

H.E.A.R.T.H. is a support group designed to provide encouragement to parents who teach their children at home. Our purpose is also to share curricula and resource information, inform parents about legislative developments that concern homeschoolers, and provide positive social interaction among our children. H.E.A.R.T.H. events are organized and run by its membership. There are many opportunities to serve and share your gifts, enriching your child's education while blessing other families.

Meeting: We meet for fall elective classes, Chess Club, field trips and much more.

Learning Enrichment Active Fellowship!

The LEAF network gives families, interested in participating, the opportunity to share resources and talents, field trips and events, learning enrichment opportunities, park and beach days, and overall fellowship with others, in a variety of group settings. LEAF is informal, all-inclusive and participant-directed. There is no one leader or group of leaders which plans activities and makes decisions for all network participants. Every family in the network is a fully contributing partner in the network.

SOS home-based education network is a member-directed inclusive network. We share ideas for activities, classes, learning co-ops, field trips and other events as they may be offered by our members. Any member may take charge of coordinating an event, outing or field trip. Parents are encouraged to offer learning opportunities and other ideas according to your family's interests; attend or plan whichever events meet your family's needs.

Meeting: Members are encouraged to attend two meetings per month: a family meeting for parents and children, to keep in touch and share experiences; and one parents' meeting, for planning and uninterrupted discussion.

Serving: North Kingstown, Coventry, Warwick, Providence, Pawtucket, Woonsocket, Pascoag, Gloucester, Narragansett, and surrounding communities. (Massachusetts and Connecticut homeschoolers welcome)

SLHE is a support group created to offer support and information to all home educators, regardless of race, religion, learning and teaching styles, etc. We operate on a volunteer basis. Members are welcome to plan any event, field trip, park day, workshop, class, or newsletter article. We encourage and support you to find what methods and experiences work best in your homeschooling endeavors.

Meeting: Monthly Support Meetings are held on the third Wednesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. and are hosted by Barnes and Noble on 5200 S. State St. (across the street from Costco).
