We are a volunteer, organization formed to support academic, physical, and social endeavors of home educators and students. We provide weekly workshops, including: P.E., sewing, drama, speech, journalism club, and 4-H club, each semester to enhance our children's learning experience. Educational field trips and other academic functions monthly. Ask for your copy of "A.R.C.H.E. Talk," a quarterly newsletter publication.

Meeting: Support group meets first Monday of each month at Faith Baptist Church, Felder St, Americus, GA. Join us for biweekly park days in the summer months.

Anchorage Christian Homeschoolers was organized in January of 2009 to create a community of Christian home schoolers in Anchorage, AK. The group meets monthly or more for field trips and activities.

There's no place like home!

AHSA members are like-minded Christian home educators dedicated to observing the Biblical commands of Deuteronomy 6:4-9, Proverbs 22:6 and Ephesians 6:4. We promote home education as the scriptural design for education whereas institutional education is an alternative to the home. We believe that every family has a God-given legal and constitutional right to home educate in the state of South Carolina regardless of their philosophy of education or religious affiliation. AHSA also offers a legal accountability option.

Meeting: Monthly activities, weekly co-op classes, a fine arts festival, a yearbook, and more.
