Helping Hands, Together We Can seeks to enhance the lives of all parents and caregivers homeschooling special needs children through a program designed to provide support for the spirit, mind and body of both the parent/caregiver and the special needs child(ren).

To ensure your interest and want of participation in meetings, please feel free to attend two meetings before deciding whether they'd like to join the group.

Meeting: Every third Wednesday from 10:30-11:30 am. Held at ALB Church - 1130 Bingham Drive, Fayetteville, Room S2 - Enter 2nd door to left

Looking for homeschooling families in Polk County? Join Us! We invite you to help organize a new Christian Co-op that will be offered soon. Our mission is to organize activities in order to educate, assist, and encourage Christian families in their homeschooling endeavors. We plan to be affiliated with SESTHA and will distribute their newsletter "Teaching Pioneer" along with our own "Family Connections" newsletter each month.

Our purpose is to provide quality support and classes to families. While our families have chosen to home educate our children we recognize the value in bonding with like-minded families and pooling our resources and backgrounds to provide the necessary bonuses to our schedules. We are offering art classes, family fun gym days and activites,and field trips but please visit the entire website to learn more!

Johnson County Special Needs Homeschool Supprt
(JCHS)

We are a new group, hoping to give support to special needs homeschoolers. We plan to have playdates, park picnics, a place for children to play together and allow Moms and Dads to relax and reach out. There are no regularly scheduled meetings as yet since we are so small. Please join us!!!
