Mighty Worshipers Academy, Inc (MWA) is a Christian Homeschool Co-op that offers all required electives during the school year including Music, Art, P.E./Health, and a time of fellowship over lunch for Prek and Elementary students. The students will perform in concerts twice/year and have optional field trips throughout the year. There are qualified tutors for each subject and parents sign up to volunteer for classroom assistant shifts throughout the year. Childcare is available for children ages 0-3 during volunteer shifts.

While the parent gets two hours to discuss televant topics to them their children birth to 18 are in classes taught by local professions also covering topics like music, physical theater, communication, sewing, drawing and puppetry.

The purpose of this group is to provide a source of encouragement, advice, and support for homeschoolers in Nelson County, Virginia. We are all at different stages in this common journey but we all have the mutual goal of quality education for our children. Nelson County Clovers 4-H Club is a group of families learning together at weekly meet-ups. Lots of events for younger homeschoolers!

This group meets about twice a week, and the events are varied- nature forest play, art, tours, local trips, poetry tea parties and other fun things. It was created in order for the children to get to know each other well and to form friendships in real life so if you join please plan on coming at least to one event a month or to create your own. We would love to get to know you!

Meeting: Targeted toward younger children (ages 3-9) though everyone is welcome.
