Students excel in Civil Air Patrol

Civil Air Patrol is an auxiliary of the US Air Force and our mission is to support America's communities with emergency response, diverse aviation and ground services, youth development and promotion of air, space and cyber power through aerospace education. Our cadet program, for youth 12-18, is really a unique opportunity for young people in the area. The program is led by cadets so leadership and mentorship are key components. Cadets can explore their interests in aviation with stem activities, orientation flights in both powered and glider aircraft, and special activities. Cadets who want to earn their pilot's license also have some special opportunities in the program. We also train in emergency services and disaster relief as well as community service opportunities. Cadets learn military drill and ceremonies and participate in physical fitness training as well. Rutland squadron has a long history of welcoming home school students. The CAP aerospace education curriculum can be used for a year of science credit. The CAP physical fitness program can also be used to satisfy state requirements for homeschooling. Students also have opportunities to participate in monthly activities like museum field trips, overnight camping, leadership opportunities, and community service.

Equestrian program

Horsemanship classes, home school phys ed unit, Interscholastic Equestrian Association show teams. Horsemanship builds character, and learning to ride is only part of it. I would love to offer riding to home school groups. Certified Instructor with 40+ years of professional experience. Terrific family oriented facility. KaiPod Learning

In-Person Learning Center for Homeschoolers

KaiPod Learning offers an in-person learning center designed specifically for homeschool learners (3rd-12th grade). Each child is matched with a peer group of 8-10 learners that come together in a professional environment to work on their coursework, participate in tailored enrichment activities, and collaborate with their peers - all supported by an experienced KaiPod Learning Coach. There is no cost for this program as it is fully funded by the state. KaiPod Learning Dover and Manchester are open Monday - Friday, 8am - 3:30pm.

Sabih Academy is a Math tutoring center located in Falls Church City, Virginia. I, Mr.Sabih, founder of Sabih Academy, have taught Mathematics at middle school and high school levels for 24 years. During this time, I held the position of Math Department Head and also coached teams for Math competitions. I am committed to each child's progress. SeaCow Robotics

Competitive Robotics Team

The team will complete in several robotics challenges this year including VEX, FIRST Tech Challenge and SeaPerch. All experience levels are invited. Students will have the opportunity to learn coding, 3D printing, Computer Aided Design and mechanical design and building.
