29 Palms Home Educators

Fun and learning for all ages!

We are a Christian centered homeschool (co-op) group. We, as homeschooling parents, agree to work together to provide educational enrichment activities & opportunities for our homeschooled children, ranging from pre-K - high school. We are not a private school or charter school with tutors. All of our classes & events are led by parent volunteers. Membership in the co-op requires that each semester every family lead a class or an event, or coordinate a field trip or other co-op related activity. The goal of the co-op is to enrich your current homeschool program.

Meeting: Group classes are held at the Palms Baptist Church (5285 Adobe Rd, 29 Palms) on most Fridays

Serving: Twenty-nine Palms, Sunfair, Joshua Tree, Yucca Valley, and surrounding communities.

4-H Home Schoolers

Teen 4-H Group

Devoted primarily for teenagers, ages 13 and above. For details on how to participate call the Alexander County Extension Office and ask for the contact number for "4-H Home Schoolers".

Meeting: Weekly 4-H meetings and other activities beyond 4-H projects that are homeschool related.

50-Corridor Homeschoolers

A "non-religious" group.

We're a secular homeschooling group that meets along the El Dorado/Sacramento County Highway 50-Corridor area. We do NOT favor one particular method or philosophy & embrace families from all religious & spiritual backgrounds who seek a homeschool group that is "non-religious" in nature. We offer park days, field trips, social gatherings, plus an online forum to connect with other homeschoolers.

We are a group in West Buckeye that exists to provide encouragement and resources to everyone educating their children at home. We are here to help one another along this journey of home educating our children. We encourage one another in this group, at weekly park day meetings, field trips, classes, workshops and more.

A Walk in the Park Unschooling Group

Walk in the Park is dedicated to the idea that children learn best when they are not forced or coerced. We believe that children possess a God-given curiosity that enables them to learn. We are a compassionate unschooling group focusing on caring for others and caring for other creatures, based on Biblical principles.

Meeting: Every other Tuesday at the library or local parks.
