Support, Classes, Interaction and Friendship!
The DCHEC cooperative provides support, classes, interaction and friendship for our kids. Additionally, we offer classes, which usually last 4-6 weeks, are held one day per week, taught by one of the moms in the group (art, science, dance, etc.) There are no membership requirements or fees and the classes are offered at minimal cost.
Meeting: Park Day is held every Tuesday from 11:30 to 1:30 pm. Monthly meetings are held the second Monday of the month, at 7:30 pm.
Serving: Davis, Bryte, Woodland, Clarksburg, Winters, Yolo, Broderick, Knights Landing, West Sacramento, Madison, Dunnigan and surrounding communities.

CHSC seeks to unite children and parents together in fun, social activities along with offering support and encouragment to one another. There are club meetings scattered throughout the week. Some clubs that we have offered in the past are Movie/book Club, Lego Club, Girls Club, Election Club, Geography Club, History Club, and Youngsters Club.
Meeting: We meet on a weekly basis and ask that all members make it to at least one activity/gathering monthly. Thursday is the weekly meeting day. Thursdays are the days that we plan park days, field trips, parties, and art day.

Yolo Homeschoolers is the oldest continuing support group in the county, over 20 years old! A loosely affiliated group of homeschooling families YoHo, as it is commonly known, includes families of all religions, philosophies, and homeschooling methods. YoHo sponsors an annual Homeschool Information Night every August, and maintains a listserv in which members may announce group classes and activities.
Meeting: First Thursday of every month at Rainbow City Community Park located in Davis.
