NETHEA is the Northeast Tennessee regional branch of THEA (Tennessee Home Education Association). We make every effort to bring educational services as close to each family's home as possible. NETHEA sponsors events such as the area high school graduation ceremonies, spring and fall camping trips, an academic fair, geography bees, a huge used curriculum fair in late spring, and more.
Meeting: Monthly Mom's Night Out at various locations.

We are a volunteer Christian organization seeking to serve homeschooling families by providing support, encouragement, and assistance; advance the cause of home education in the state of Tennessee; and safeguard and promote the general right of parental authority in education.

Formed in 1990 we openly embrace diversity.
Members reflect a wide spectrum of spiritual, political, culinary, environmental, philosophical, etc. beliefs. Discussions may include - but are not limited to: field trips, tutors, classes, cultural events (plays, art exhibits, opera, dance etc). Events need not be limited to the Middle Tennessee area, but should be within a day's drive.
Meeting: Every Wednesday (weather permitting) from 1:30 pm till we decide to go home or out to dinner at Two Rivers Park in Nashville
