Aiding Christian parents!
Faith Academy is both an administrative overseer and an enabler. We offer children access to group activities and learning experiences which enhance their academic, social, physical, scriptural, and emotional development. It is our belief that a child's education and the direction of his mental emotional, social, spiritual and physical growth is properly the responsibility of his parents. The hope of the school is that we may provide assistance and support to Christian parents who subscribe to this belief.
Meeting: Our group meets regularly for classes at Ridgecrest Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.
Serving: Tuscaloosa, Aliceville, Carrollton, Gordo, Reform, Millport, and surrounding communities.

Independent Central Alabama Home Educators Invited!
CAIH is open to anyone home educating or considering homeschooling. As the name implies, our primary focus is on those who have chosen to home educate under our own umbrella, without the use of a cover school. As such, it is our goal to use this group as a tool to meet parents in similar circumstances to discuss issues, curricula, challenges etc.
Meeting: Primarily online, with occasional in-person gatherings.
Serving: Birmingham, Tuscaloosa, McCalla, Lake View, Vance, Peterson, Brookwood, Holt, Riverview, Jasper, Center Point, Fairfield, Hoover, and surrounding areas.

Members who are currently home educating their children must be doing so in accordance with the laws of Alabama. THE sponsors field trips, a high school choir, junior varsity and varsity sports programs, and numerous other activites.

Maxwell Area Home Educators (MAHE) is a support group formed primarily to encourage military homeschoolers
regardless of their reasons for homeschooling, philosophy, or method of instruction. MAHE is not a church school, but a network of homeschoolers working together to assist one another in our homeschooling efforts.
Meeting: Since most of our activities are on base, a family needs to have access to Maxwell & Gunter Air Force Bases.
