A Southern Ohio group for mom's of young children (3-10) and elementary home educators in the Scioto County area. This is a group where we can meet and let our young children socialize. Meetings will be at parents homes, parks, field trips etc. If you are a mom with young children you are welcome to join!
Meeting: Last Friday of the month in the Scioto County area.
Serving: Fair Oaks, Gephart, Ashley Corner, Sciotoville, Wheelers Mill, Harrison Furnace, Otway, Henley, Crabtree, Lucasville, New Boston, South Shore, Portsmouth, Coles Park, Rosemount, Highland Bend and surrounding areas.

Learning By Inquiry hopes others will be inspired to go on their own inquiry. It can be as simple as looking at what different plants are in your back yard and make a prediction about what you think you will find. Getting children interested in nature and exploring make learning much more personal.

CHERP serves as a communication link within the Southern Ohio Area. We have families representing Pike, Ross, Scioto, Jackson, Pickaway, Adams and Highland Counties. We keep all area homeschool families informed about the events and activities available in our area. We organize a few annual events, but serve mainly as a communication link between the area Co-op groups and support groups.
