The Milpitas Homeschool Support Group uses this group for announcements, home education discussions, a bit of socializing, and exchanging information. While we're based in Milpitas, California, we welcome those from Fremont, San Jose and other cities in the general Silicon Valley and SF Bay Area. We're an inclusive, relaxed group, with no bylaws, dues or participation requirements: everything is free or pay as you go. SFBUN seeks to create and support an unschooling community in the San Francisco Bay Area. For this reason, the SFBUN Yahoo group is open only to unschooling families and homeschooling families who are exploring unschooling. We are a play group for children who homeschool and are between the ages of 0-6. Each week, one parent brings a craft for the children to do. While the children play, the moms are able to enjoy friendship, and share information about homeschooling with each other. If you are currently homeschooling or considering homeschooling, you are welcome to meet us at one of our Wednesday homeschool park days.
