Support for Unschoolers!

SFBUN seeks to create and support an unschooling community in the San Francisco Bay Area. For this reason, the SFBUN Yahoo group is open only to unschooling families and homeschooling families who are exploring unschooling. We strive to create opportunities for unschooling families to play together, make new connections, develop close friendships, and enjoy the freedom of living an unschooled life.

Meeting: SFBUN meets regularly around the San Francisco Bay Area for game days, potlucks, and other fun outings and get-togethers, with an emphasis on having fun!

Mid-Peninsula Homeschoolers warmly welcomes families of diverse backgrounds, beliefs, and homeschooling philosophies who love their children and wish to provide them with the best possible education.

Meeting: Find fun, friendship, support, networking, and information. We gather every Wednesday at Mitchell Park in Palo Alto.

Lupine Family Homeschoolers
(LFH)

Inspired by the story "Miss Rumphius."

Founded in 2000, Lupine Family Homeschoolers is a Waldorf inspired, parent participation group for kids and teens born in the years 2000-2001 and 1994 thru 1997. We share seasonal crafts and celebrations, music, and plays, while playing in the yard (or hanging out in the tree house!) or garden that invites digging, building and creating of all kinds.

Meeting: Each Monday in San Mateo county from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Montessori Preschool at Home

Montessori at home preschool (3-6 years) in Atherton

Our main values are respect, tolerance, kindness, and gentleness. We will be speaking in French and English but also in spanish. Included in the program: gardening, cooking, singing, comptines, art, crafts and learning about other cultures.

Meeting: Two or three mornings per week from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm for montessori preschool at my Atherton home.
