The Milpitas Homeschool Support Group uses this group for announcements, home education discussions, a bit of socializing, and exchanging information. While we're based in Milpitas, California, we welcome those from Fremont, San Jose and other cities in the general Silicon Valley and SF Bay Area. We're an inclusive, relaxed group, with no bylaws, dues or participation requirements: everything is free or pay as you go. If you are currently homeschooling, or considering doing so, feel free to join and ask us a few questions or come and meet us!

Support for Unschoolers!

SFBUN seeks to create and support an unschooling community in the San Francisco Bay Area. For this reason, the SFBUN Yahoo group is open only to unschooling families and homeschooling families who are exploring unschooling. We strive to create opportunities for unschooling families to play together, make new connections, develop close friendships, and enjoy the freedom of living an unschooled life.

Meeting: SFBUN meets regularly around the San Francisco Bay Area for game days, potlucks, and other fun outings and get-togethers, with an emphasis on having fun!

Social gatherings for teens!

We are gathering teens (12+) together to form an ongoing group to meet on a regular basis to plan and attend various social opportunities. Our group is purely social and all inclusive. Our goal is to help homeschool teens meet other homeschool teens across various social, geographic and educational philosophy areas with the hope to share interests and social events. We are not associated with any specific homeschool group or academic group.
