This is a support group for those home-schooling Waldorf method. We have formed a Waldorf community. We celebrate festivals together as well as attend field trips. We also provide support for curriculum, handwork, music, art, and anything related to Waldorf education.

SLHE is a support group created to offer support and information to all home educators, regardless of race, religion, learning and teaching styles, etc. We operate on a volunteer basis. Members are welcome to plan any event, field trip, park day, workshop, class, or newsletter article. We encourage and support you to find what methods and experiences work best in your homeschooling endeavors.

Meeting: Monthly Support Meetings are held on the third Wednesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. and are hosted by Barnes and Noble on 5200 S. State St. (across the street from Costco).

Sandy Home Schoolers

Everybody is welcome!

We invite all types of homeschoolers to join including full to part-time homeschoolers, old and new homeschoolers and those considering homeschooling. The purpose of this group is to help connect homeschoolers in the Sandy/Draper area, and to provide a forum to post activities that are closer to home, so we don't have to drive all over the valley for activities and social outlets for our children.

South Valley Teens

For homeschooled teens!

South Valley Teens is a combination scholar, social, activity, and service organization. We gather to read and discuss great books, participate in public speaking, go on tours, listen to guest speakers, work on service projects, study world religions and historical moments. We enjoy fun activities such as rock climbing and movie/pizza nights. Whatever our homeschooled teens want to learn about, we want to make happen! We'd love to hear your ideas. Join us for fun, friendship, and educational enrichment! We look forward to meeting you!
