Homeschool group with special focus on families homeschooling their child(ren) with special/complex needs, including autism, mental retardation, and many other physical and mental disabilities. Meetings to offer support, idea exchange (curriculum, therapies, and more), and field trips opportunities.

Western Maine Homeschoolers is a network of diverse homeschooling families who get together when the mood strikes, for fun and learning. Anyone who wants a specific activity or service organizes it and shares it with others as appropriate. Our members are driven for activities. When planning an outdoor event, be sure to include a rain date! Parents meetings provide support and information (and inspiration) and are open to anyone interested, whether currently homeschooling or not.
