We are a Catholic community of homeschooling families serving southern Orange County and parts of northern Orange County. Members attend various parishes and use any curriculum of their choosing. We come together every Thursday at revolving parks to play and support one another. There are also a variety of other opportunities to come together for field trips, Feast Day celebrations, moms night outs.

Meeting: Thursday afternoons at revolving parks in Lake Forest, Laguna Hills and Mission Viejo

Established Christian support group

A support group of over 100 families, located primarily in the southern Orange County area. We aim to provide support and encouragement to each other through various social, spiritual and educational events. Members can access a private website where field trips, ideas, events, advice and so on are freely discussed. We promote homeschooling as an excellent educational and family lifestyle choice and do hope you'll join us.

We are a group of homeschooled and unschooled teens and their parents who gather in and around Orange County, CA for beach parties, regional dances, pizza nights, campouts, Disneyland trips and other events. We welcome all homeschoolers new and old, regardless of homeschool style, what you eat or don't eat or what time you get out of bed.

We are a diverse homeschool group; you will find all races, cultures, religious backgrounds, and homeschooling methods. It's a great mix of families, who come together with a common goal -- to promote the love of learning and offer support for our homeschool journeys. If you are considering homeschooling, are new to homeschooling, or an old pro, we'd love to have you join us! We offer weekly park days, monthly Cultural Days, scouting and members host various clubs, field trips, and MNOs.

Meeting: Group meets each Friday 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.; The first Friday each month, in Irvine; all others meet in Lake Forest.

There are small pockets of unschoolers here and there throughout Southern California, but there hasn't been an easy way to connect with each other. This group is for unschoolers and anyone else interested in the very simple, but very radical idea that life is learning and learning is life! SoCalUnschoolers is a place for sharing ideas and planning get togethers with other like-minded families.
