The Southern Ohio Home School Organization (SOHO) is intended to foster local engagement through activities that promote leadership, pride, and meaningful connections for families through the efforts of our parent-based volunteer committee. Our goal is to provide educational, fun and safe activities for Homeschoolers throughout Southern Ohio. SOHO is an organization that is open to ALL types of homeschoolers. Support, Fellowship, & Encouragement!
CHECC provides its members with opportunitis for fellowship; not only for our students but for their parents as well. Our children have the opportunity to learn with other students in our cooperative classes, field trips, talent shows, drama, holiday gatherings, even "school pictures" are among some of the benefits our members enjoy. Monthly evening meetings focus on a topic of interest to homeschool parents. Members must sign statement of faith. Education must be home based & privately funded (by parents or family) and parent directed.
Meeting: Group meets at Heritage Fellowship 105 N. Tecumseh Road, Springfield, Ohio; meetings begin at 7:00 p.m.
