C.V.H.S. Park day held each Wednesday.

C.V.H.S. Offers weekly co-op meetings that include science and art as well as field trips and monthly Parent Support Meetings. You do not have to attend the weekly meetings to participate in the field trips or any of our other special events, all are welcome!

Meeting: Art and Science classes held weekly; Tuesday, 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., at St. Albans Episcopal Church, Los Banos.

Culture, Education, Recreation!

The Northern California African American Homeschooler's Association is designed to inform members about cultural, academic, and recreational activities in our region. African-American families in this group organize field trips and playgroups and are encouraged to attend group activities. We have an annual black history fair, summer park days, and an annual family Kwanzaa event. All homeschooling philosophies are welcome. No membership fees.

Meeting: Group meets in various locations, in hopes of strengthening the cultural bonds within the African American community.

Special Needs Support Group

This is a support group for anyone who is homeschooling a child or children with special needs. We welcome anyone who is homeschooling children with special needs and is looking for support, as well as parents who have homeschooled children in the past and may have advice or support to offer parents who have the unique challenge of homeschooling these special children. These meetings will be a very loosely structured time of fellowship and support, in a safe and non-judgemental environment, and may also offer guest speakers from time to time who have experience in homeschooling special needs children.

Meeting: Sunday evenings at 7:00 p.m. - Every 6-8 weeks in Ceres.

Serving: California Central Valley area, including but not limited to: Stanislaus county, Merced county, Mariposa county, Madera county, Tuolumne county.
