We work to bring together homeschoolers and their supporters across the Northwoods. We are particularly focused on learning sustainability skills and Earth-centered lessons, and our activities are geared toward those ideas as well as bringing our kids together to have some fun and get to know each other. We'd love to have you join us!

UMCHE is not anti-public school, but pro-homeschool!

UMCHE offers resources on curriculum, teaching aids and other homeschool information through our lending library, annual curriculum fair, bi-annual newsletter, as well as information on legal issues, legislation, and other relevant information. UMCHE also offers opportunities for our children to interact with other homeschooled children through planned education and recreational activities. An Information Network for Christian Homes (INCH) affiliate.

Meeting: TBA - All meetings held at Calvary Baptist Church (on US 41 in Negaunee).

Serving: Negaunee, Ishpeming, Marquette and the central area of Michigan's Upper Peninsula.
