We are a casual group of friends in and around the river town of Alton, Illinois who educate our children at home. We are a secular set of free thinkers who enjoy the diversity of style and flexibility in life that homeschooling allows. The goals of the Big Muddy HSC are to serve as a supportive resource for parents and create enriching opportunities for children. Please join us!
Meeting: Group meets at various times and locations in the Alton area.

(FOCHE)
Educating the Christian homeschool community!
FOCHE is a Christ-centered organization providing information and support to Christian parents who are, or will be teaching their children at home. FOCHE offers opportunities for fellowship, training and encouragement to better equip its members to accomplish their family's home education goals. We meet once a month informally to encourage, answer questions, and support beginning
homeschoolers. Various activities are held for children throughout the year, although our emphasis is more on family activities.
