A group for all homeschoolers!
This group is for parents in East Tennessee who wish to homeschool or unschool their children with a secular approach. Our goal is to accept and welcome homeschoolers to the group with no concern for our members' religious beliefs or homeschooling style. Our group is open and inclusive. No matter if you are an atheist, agnostic, humanist, freethinker, or something else it will be a great way to meet other parents who have similar parenting styles and values and for our kids to meet other kids they can interact with, and to share curriculum ideas!
Serving: Knoxville, Fort Sanders, College Hills, Western Heights, Beaumont, South Knoxville, Morningside, and surrounding communities.

Membership is by invitation only.
East Tennessee Homeschool Connection is a non-directed group, which means we do not have a specific leader or board of directors. All members are encouraged to plan activities for the group. Our purpose is to provide a Christian atmosphere for our children to interact socially and develop friendships. There are no special membership requirements and we collect no fees.
Meeting: The majority of our activities are held in Hamblen and Jefferson counties.
Serving: All homeschoolers in the East Tennessee area are welcome to join.

SCSH serves homeschool or unschooling families in a secular manner. Atheist, agnostic, Jewish, whatever you are, you are free to join us. There are no dues of any kind. We just ask that you join us in our local activities and have some fun and get some support.

The Smoky Mountain Home Education Association (SMHEA) is a Christian led, non-profit service organization with membership open to all. We seek to promote home education by providing information and vital resources to all area home schoolers.
Serving: SMHEA serves the families of eighteen counties surrounding Knox County and is one of seven Tennessee regional organizations affiliated with the Tennessee Home Education Association across Tennessee.
