Homeschoolers of the Eastern Panhandle
Join our Nuturing chat group!
This group is for homeschoolers in West Virginia's eastern-panhandle and neighboring counties in Maryland, Pennsylvania and Virginia. This group is designed as a supportive site where people both new to homeschooling and veteran homeschoolers can chat and give one another ideas. We have bi-monthly field trips and activities. Whatever your reasons for home-schooling, we are all facing the same hurdles and can help one another.
Meeting: We meet every Wednesday (from 1-3 p.m.) at the Martinsburg Public Library in West Virginia. The classes have been geared towards 4th grade level and higher.

Covenant Homeschool Group

Area homeschoolers are invited to join our monthly field trips.
Covenant Homeschool Group is a faith-based group who believe that children are a gift from God. Some of our activities include a monthly book share and show and tell (or public speaking, depending on the age), where the children can tell us about their favorite books while the younger members of our group get to hear fascinating stories read to them. In addition, to these activities and our field trips, we also try to have holiday-themed parties for the children.
Meeting: The third Sunday of every month at Covenant Baptist Church in Sheperdstown, WV at 7:00 p.m.
