Blue Ridge Homeschool Alliance is for homeschool families in Western North Carolina seeking social opportunities, friendship, and support. Membership is open to homeschoolers in all of WNC, but activities may be centered in Buncombe County (Asheville, NC and surrounding area), Henderson County (Hendersonville, NC and surrounding area), and Transylvania County (Brevard, NC and surrounding area). Blue Ridge Homeschool Alliance is an all-inclusive group.
Meeting: Group meets for various field trips and social events.

We do woodworking projects, visit nursing homes, visit local businesses and educational areas. We love community service and hope to do more during the coming year. Our group is community led and everyone is welcome to plan, participate and take part in the opportunities we offer.

Our purpose is to provide quality support and classes to families. While our families have chosen to home educate our children we recognize the value in bonding with like-minded families and pooling our resources and backgrounds to provide the necessary bonuses to our schedules. Where Education and Friendships Last a Lifetime
We gather for social and recreational time together! Our current offerings (open to all ages) include: a Lego Engineering Club, geography club, and drama club; holiday parties; This group is structured to allow families to spend time together, and form bonds and friendships to last throughout our lifetimes.
Meeting: We meet twice per month at a park, currently on Wednesdays; additionally we do bi-monthly fieldtrips.
