We are committed to helping (supporting) families grow in their efforts to enter and maintain a homeschooling lifestyle. The goal is to build a multicultural and diverse community support group, and by doing so, increase the benefits of a homeschool education within our local community for all HELD members. We believe that homeschooling is an educational method that may be chosen by any family. We are an active group listing many, many events. This includes park days, classes, field trips, festive annual gatherings, teen dances, award ceremonies, and graduation.

HAEA is an inclusive/nonsectarian association of homeschooling families in the Greater Houston area. Our members hold monthly meetings, park days, and field trip activities in which we share support and information pertaining to our families growth outside institutionalized educational settings. Families of all faiths, philosophies, and perspectives are welcome.

High-school social events
CHATS is a group that offers events to homeschooled high school teens ages 14 and up. Most of our events will be located on the southwest side of Houston. CHATS welcomes homeschooling highschool teens from the Houston area to participate in our social events. If you are interested please let us know.
Meeting: Group meets in the Fort Bend area.
