A busy community!

The FBHE is a group of military and DOD families dedicated to the home education of our children. We are committed to providing support and encouragement to one another and to participating in activities that will enrich the lives of our children and families. Throughout the year our group offers social, support, and enrichment activities. Some of these activities include: holiday parties, weekly playgroup, monthly gatherings such as bowling, hiking, or swimming, monthly field trips, events such as a Spelling Bee, Science Fair, International Fair, and Geography Bee. Please feel welcome to join our group to learn about and participate in our activities.

Serving: All communities in Fairfax County and in the area of the Fort Belvoir military base in Virginia.

(HOPE)

Helping parents succeed in homeschooling!

HOPE is a non-profit Christian organization committed to equipping and encouraging parents of all faiths to better serve their homeschools and families. HOPE's goal is to be a support group for all courageous parents who are taking the bold step of educating their children at home.

Meeting: Monthly meetings are the 3rd Thursday from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Manassas Assembly of God in Bristow.

Strengthening the bond of Muslim families!

Join us for discussions, information sharing and resources on educational topics as they apply towards teaching our children. We share ideas, plan social or academic activities, field trips, classes, outdoor as well as indoor activities. Active participation is encouraged and is what will keep this group alive. Please feel free to coordinate an event.

Meeting: Monthly member directed activities based mainly in the Prince William County area.

Serving: Cobbdale, Green Acres, Ardmore, Country Club Hills, Fair Oaks, Fairview, Joyce Heights, Little River Hills and surrounding areas.
