We welcome homeschoolers of all shapes and sizes, varied spiritual backgrounds, traditional and nontraditional families, unschoolers to school-at-home families, and everything in between. We are a colorful patchwork of opinions, thoughts, beliefs, values, and styles, and we can all work together without compromising our own personal principles, beliefs, and commitments.

Parents Advocating Teaching at Home
(PATH)

PATH is an inclusive community of homeschooling families providing support and resources for people who have chosen to educate their families at home. Members have varied backgrounds, as well as varied political and religious beliefs. In PATH we celebrate our differences and treat each other with respect and kindness being sensitive to the diversity that is within the group. We offer members a monthly newsletter, access to the website, and any other opportunities provided through the support group.

Families Advocating Christian Training
(FACT)
Providing Support and Encouragement!
FACT provides support and encouragement for parents, and we provide our children an opportunity to interact with area homeschoolers through educational, social, and civic activities. We offer monthly support meetings, and a monthly newsletter. We participate in monthly field trips, holiday parties, 4-H groups, and offer regular classes such as Library, PE and Art. Our teens participate in our TUFF teen group and other community services. We'd love to have you and your family be a part of OUR family!
Meeting: We normally meet the Fourth (4th) Monday each month, at 6:30 p.m. at the Taylorsville Fire Department in Taylorsville.
Serving: Taylorsville, Advent Crossroads, Maiden, Conover, Catfish, Hickory, Newton, Longview, Sweetwater, Claremont, Saint Stephens and surrounding areas.
