We are a group of families, in the Roaring Fork Valley of Colorado, who like to keep in touch and support each other on our homeschooling journeys. Some of our families are from outside this area. The ages of our families range from teens to toddlers. If you're new and have questions feel free to ask. If you are experienced and have advice feel free to share.

Meeting: We get together locally for fieldtrips, play dates, curriculum idea sharing, special classes, but most importantly to support each other on a daily basis with this list.

Helping families help their kids!

Education Movement: Parents Offering Wisdom, Encouragement and Resources (EMPOWER) is an organization run by families; we offer support, education, advocacy and resources to families with children and youth who have social, emotional or mental health challenges. Families are stronger when they unite; it is the same for us. We have formally partnered with other organizations; each has a unique focus and expertise. By working together we are able to help member families with their various needs.

Meeting: We offer impromptu and informal gatherings and events such as coffee's and various family outings and then we have our annual summer picnics.

Common Ground Homeschoolers is an inclusive group of families seeking educational alternatives for our children. Insight, Inspiration and Fellowship!

Hearts at Home aims to provide support to homeschool families through a variety of activities including: mom's night out, family social events, educational field trips, history and science fairs, events for 11 and up kids, and various educational presentations. Hearts at Home is a great place to connect and support each other as we journey through life homeschooling our kids. Moms can find information, creative ideas, prayer support, curriculum ideas and more on our forum. Hearts at Home helps kids connect with other home school kids through both educational and social events. Hearts at Home is a dynamic group and is always growing.

Meeting: Monday nights on a weekly basis in the Highlands Ranch area.

Academy Charter Homeschool Support Program

A Public School of Choice!

Our program's purpose is to support your homeschooling efforts by providing hands-on science instruction and exciting spanish lessons by certified teachers in a small classroom environment. We provide all materials in this tuition-free program. We have been operating for 16 years in Douglas County.

Meeting: Classes meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays in Castle Rock from 7:30 a.m. - 10:35 a.m.; Parker from 11:15 a.m. - 2:40 p.m., and at Highlands Ranch from 11:15 a.m. - 2:40 p.m.

Littleton Support Group

Join us for Family Fun Days!

We are a group of parents that meet to provide support and education to families of children and adolescents with brain disorders. Brain Disorders are neurobiological or biological disorders in the brain. The Colorado Department of Education (CDE) has provided us two large grants that have been instrumental in giving us the needed funding to expand our resources and database. One grant allows us to provide FREE childcare to parents attending workshops, trainings or support group functions.

Meeting: We meet the first Wednesday each month, 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. at Grace Presbyterian Church, 251 E. Sterne Blvd., Littleton, CO
