Encouragement and Support!
A Christian-based group offering encouragement and support to any homeschooling family in Mohave County. We provide educational resources, monthly field trips, workshops, service projects, educational group activities, a lending library and fresh ideas that will keep you motivated on your homeschooling journey. Attend our monthly meetings to help you gain new teaching tools and ideas to keep your child's education on the right track. Members participate by holding an office or planning an activity (i.e. literary club, chess club, Lego league, service club, field trips, sports club, spelling bee, geography bee, science fair, playgroup, science workshops, etc).
Meeting: Our support group meets on the second Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 3958 N. Bank, Kingman, AZ.
Serving: Kingman, McConnico, New Kingman-Butler, Golden Valley, Bullhead City, Dolan Springs, Chloride, Antares, Harris, Cerbat, Athos and surrounding communities.

We offer encouragement for homeschooling families, information for those interested in homeschooling including how to get started, park days, field trips, an annual spelling bee, science fair and a used curriculum sale. HVCHE is a Christ-centered co-op offering park days, field trips, Mom's night out, school pictures and a curriculum exchange. Membership in His Vision Christian Home Educators (HVCHE) is contingent upon each family's compliance with Arizona law. Only one membership will be granted per family.
Meeting: Monthly park days, Mom's night out and field trips.
Serving: South Scottsdale/Arcadia. Our member families live in the South Scottsdale/Arcadia neighborhood. Typically families live rougly on Shea south to the 202 border and from the 101 (Pima) west to either the 51 (7th St.) with some exceptions.

High Desert Homeschoolers is an all inclusive group of homeschooling families whose purpose is to provide support and foster friendships through a variety of activities. Our group is open to all families, regardless of their homeschooling approach or religious outlook.
