Twain Harte Area Homeschoolers
Twain Harte Area Homeschoolers is an inclusive group, who's primary goal is to provide plenty of physical activity and companionship for area homeschooled children. We invite homeschoolers visiting the area to join us.
Visitors and locals are invited to join our online community and to help organize and/or participate in group activities. Living in the mountains provides many unique opportunities for our children to learn and explore the surroundings, to that end we will attempt to plan several outdoor activites over the summer months, and possibly a camping trip toward fall.

Home School Family Camp

- If you are interested in sharing a cabin, Please e-mail me. We are interested in reserving the Gold Rush Cabin and sharing it with another family. (Shared cost $162.50 each family) Cabin sleeps 14-28 people.

- Activities will include: Gold Panning, Churning Butter, Making Candles, Late-night campfire, Ho-down, Zip-line, Go-carts, Climbing Wall, Family Games, Paintball (ages 10+), Extreme Swing, Frisbee Golf, Archery, And More!

- High Sierra Camping held over July 4th Weekend.

(Date TBA - sometime end of July) Please e-mail with date preferences. - Nature Hike to Natural Bridges in Vallecito, CA - 1.5 mile hike.
(Date TBA - sometime in August) Please e-mail with date preferences. - New Attactix Group now forming, meeting planned first week of August, 2008. Please e-mail me for details. My son is interested in starting tournament play. Attactix sets will be made available.
- Scrapbooking - Parents and their children 10 and up are invited to attend a scrapbooking session to share craft ideas. Bring your own supplies and some to share.
