LINKS is a ministry of Bridges Community Church in Fremont and is a Christian homeschool support group. We offer field trips, annual yearbooks, school photos, mom's night out support, and some pretty amazing holiday and end-of-year parties!

Nature Explorers of the East Bay (NEEB)

Whether your interest is hiking, exploring, observing or writing in your nature journal, you are sure to have fun. NEEB hosts an occasional organized field trips to San Francisco and the Marin County areas. Our nature hikes in the East Bay area for parents and their children are great fun.
Meeting: Hikes are held the first and third Tuesday each month at various locations.
Serving: Bay Farm Island, Eastmont, Lake Merritt, Melrose, Oakland, Piedmont, Alameda, and surrounding communities.

Northern California African American Homeschooler's Association (NCAAHA)
Culture, Education, Recreation!
The Northern California African American Homeschooler's Association is designed to inform members about cultural, academic, and recreational activities in our region. African-American families in this group organize field trips and playgroups and are encouraged to attend group activities. We have an annual black history fair, summer park days, and an annual family Kwanzaa event. All homeschooling philosophies are welcome. No membership fees.
Meeting: Group meets in various locations, in hopes of strengthening the cultural bonds within the African American community.

San Francisco Bay Unschooling Network (SFBUN)
Support for Unschoolers!
SFBUN seeks to create and support an unschooling community in the San Francisco Bay Area. For this reason, the SFBUN Yahoo group is open only to unschooling families and homeschooling families who are exploring unschooling. We strive to create opportunities for unschooling families to play together, make new connections, develop close friendships, and enjoy the freedom of living an unschooled life.
Meeting: SFBUN meets regularly around the San Francisco Bay Area for game days, potlucks, and other fun outings and get-togethers, with an emphasis on having fun!
