California Homeschoolers Educating, And Reaching-out Through Service
(H.E.A.R.T.S.)

Community Service Projects for Children!

California H.E.A.R.T.S. is uniting all California home educators to work together to help our communities. We encourage homeschoolers to get involved in their local community through serving local organizations such as domestic violence shelters, homeless shelters, food banks, convalescent hospitals, and any others. We seek to generate increased public awareness, understanding, and acceptance of homeschoolers and homeschooling as a single focus - unrelated to any other issue.

Charlotte Mason in South Carolina
(CMinSC)

Charlotte Mason Study Group

The initial goal of the email list is to start monthly meetings to discuss the Charlotte Mason philosophy of education. We also are setting up links folders to list sites to enhance this style of education (nature, history, art, plays, music, etc.). As her philosophy incorporates a Christian worldview, members should expect religious beliefs to be discussed at various times.

Meeting: We are hoping to start monthly study group meetings in cities within a reasonable driving distance for members.
