Play, Create, Explore and Discover Homeschool Adventures! Are you ready to get up, get out, and explore? Bring your Explorers for adventures full of fun! This group is positive and playful. We are a learning playgroup for the Bay Area, Texas. We meet to laugh, learn and play in the Greater Houston Area around 10a twice a week. We cater to tots age 3-6 yrs.

Meeting: 10 a weekdays

Home school support and more!

We provide online resource support for parents who are new to homeschooling or are thinking about homeschooling their children. HomeSchool ETCetera supports new and veteran homeschooling families through educational social events/field trips. We also have Q & A monthly meetings which include: discussing local and national homeschooling issues, planning field trips, book fairs, sharing low cost curriculum and other duties as needed. Kovacs Piano Studio

Russian Method of Piano Teaching

Experienced teacher is expanding her 15 year piano studio. Lessons available for the young beginner with no musical experience, through adults with significant piano skills. Learning is maximized by the use of two instruments during the lessons. Students will add to their learning experiences through local competitions, festivals and performances. The instructor is a TCU graduate, has a Master Degree, international competition experience, and has performed at Carnegie Hall, New York.

Meeting: Lessons are held in our Aledo, TX studio.

Encouraging Homeschool Parents!

WCHC encourages parents to merge their collective skill-sets to provide a well-rounded, educational supplement for the growing number of homeschooling families in our area. We provide one day a week academic co-op classes for students Pre-K through 12th Grade. In addition to our academic classes we also offer field trips, holiday parties, preteen and teen luncheons, ladies night out and various seminars.

Meeting: Academic classes meet at Fellowship of Huntsville Church on HWY 30 West right before the fairgrounds.

Being the Body of Christ!

We are Christians who come from different denominational backgrounds and various teaching methods. We want to encourage families that are in the midst of the homeschool journey because we know that it is not always easy, and ultimately, to encourage the hearts of parents back toward their children and the heart of the family back toward our God. Our purpose is to meet spiritual needs through prayer, emotional needs through fellowship, and practical needs through friendship. We are not necessarily a how-to group, but if you are new to homeschooling, then our great group of loving people who are more than willing to offer advice, is a great place to start. We have various activities, field trips, and classes scheduled throughout the year. There are no membership fees. You can join our message board on yahoo groups, or you can "like" us on Facebook in order to keep up with all our events and details.
