Fort Riley Homeschool Group
Sharing Resources and Encouragement!
The Fort Riley Homeschool Group is a network of homeschoolers who are presently stationed at Fort Riley, Kansas. We exist to support one another in homeschooling by sharing resources and knowledge for a better homeschooling experience.
Currently we offer various classes on Fridays, such as Art and Choir. We also organize field trips and fellowship gatherings.

Fellowship, Support, and Encouragement!
C.H.E.A. membership is open to Christian homeschoolers in the Southeast Kansas area. We have three planning teams to coordinate activities for these areas and all member moms are encouraged to serve on one of these teams. By sharing the responsibilities, we can make the group a success and can all have a part in the group's direction.

A Walk in the Park Unschooling Group
Founded on Christian Principles
Walk in the Park is dedicated to the idea that children learn best when they are not forced or coerced. We believe that children possess a God-given curiosity that enables them to learn. We are a compassionate unschooling group focusing on caring for others and caring for other creatures, based on Biblical principles.
Meeting: Every other Tuesday at the library or local parks.

Midwest Parent Educators
An active group!
In an attempt to restore the warmth and friendliness of a small group, the formation of cluster groups was implemented. Cluster groups are, in essence, small support groups within the larger structure of MPE. Group members plan field trips and other group activities; these activities provide opportunities for both parents and children to build relationships. Members of MPE receive nine issues of, "The Parent Educator," each year. Each issue contains news of events, classes, and activities of interest to homeschoolers.
Meeting: Come fellowship at Mimi's Cafe next to Oak Park Mall at 6:30 p.m. on the first Tuesday evening of every month.
