Illinois Christian Home Educators is a not-for-profit Christian organization composed of families dedicated to the success of home education in Illinois. ICHE is dedicated to helping families get the information and support they need to educate their children. ICHE publishes a free quarterly magazine called The Alliant. ICHE also sponsors conventions and conferences throughout the year. The largest and most popular event is the annual ICHE State Convention, held in the Chicago area. We are available to answer questions, refer families to their nearest support group, and provide a Homeschool Beginner's Packet.

CHEC will be guarding the freedoms to homeschool in Illinois while you are busy teaching your children at home.

Christian Home Educators Coalition of Illinois is a state organization whose purpose is to preserve homeschooling liberties in the state of Illinois. CHEC was organized in 1986 as a volunteer organization to monitor legislation in the Illinois General Assembly which would be detrimental to homeschooling liberties in Illinois.
